An early build of Windows 7 SP1 has been leaked on Torrents

Microsoft has started talking about the first major update (Service Pack) of Windows 7. But today, An early interim build of its Service Pack 1 has been leaked out on Torrents and file sharing websites.

The build string is 6.1.7601.16537.amd64fre.win7.100327-0053 which was compiled on March 27th, 2010. The build is quick to install but it’s not clear whether it includes the promised USB 3.0 support or enhanced Bluetooth and Wi-Fi stacks.

The Redmond company is reportedly planning to release the first service pack for Windows 7 at the end of 2010, namely in the last quarter of this year.

The first service pack for Windows 7 is reportedly on track to graduating to Beta stage in mid-April 2010. Microsoft, of course, has yet to make public any details on the first major upgrade for its latest Windows client, let alone disclose the timetable, or the launch deadline.

Microsoft is producing a steady stream of interim Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Builds on the way to the first beta development milestone, but so far has yet to make public any official details on the first major upgrade to the latest iteration of its Windows client. Information from a third-party source reveals that, between January 11 and March 2, Microsoft compiled no less than 35 builds of Windows 7 SP1, at the rate of almost one per day.
